 কাতার বিশ্বকাপ (ফিফা) ২০২২ এ প্রযুক্তির নতুন সংযোজন

১২ আগস্ট ২০২২ আরব বিশ্বে ফুটবলের ২২তম আসরের সময়সূচি পরিবর্তন করে ফুটবল নিয়ন্ত্রক সংস্থা ফিফা। পূর্বের সূচি অনুযায়ী ২১ নভেম্বর আয়োজক কাতার ও ইকুয়েডরের বিপক্ষে ম্যাচটি ছিল আসরের তৃতীয় ম্যাচ। এখন তা একদিন আগে ২০ নভেম্বর মাঠে গড়াবে এবং এর মাধ্যমেই পর্দা উঠবে বিশ্বকাপের। তাছাড়া বাকি ম্যাচগুলোর সময় ও তারিখ অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে। ৯২ বছরের ঐতিহ্যকে বদলে  জুন জুলাইয়ের পরিবর্তে এবার নভেম্বর ডিসেম্বরে গড়াতে যাচ্ছে বিশ্বকাপ। বিশেষ করে প্রযুক্তিগত জায়গায় পরিবর্তনগুলো বৈপ্লবিকই বলা যায়। প্রযুক্তিতে কাতার নতুন যেসব সংযোজন নিয়ে আসছে সেগুলো হলঃ

১) ২০২২ বিশ্বকাপের ৮টি স্টেডিয়ামের ৭টিতেই ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে শীতলীকরণের অত্যাধুনিক প্রযুক্তি। এটি শুধু খেলোয়াড়দের জন্যই পরিবেশকে শীতল রাখবে এমন নয়, গ্যারারিতে খেলা দেখতে আসা দর্শকেরাও এই সুবিধা ভোগ করবে। শুধু স্টেডিয়াম ৯৭৪ এ এই সুবিধা নেই।

২) এ বিশ্বকাপে দেখা যাবে বৈপ্লবিক আধা স্বয়ংক্রিয় অফসাইড প্রযুক্তি। নতুন এই প্রযু্ক্তিতে স্টেডিয়ামের অভ্যন্তরে ১২টি ট্র্যাকিং ক্যামেরা থাকবে। এই প্রযুক্তি ভিআর অফিশিয়ালকে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে অফসাইড সতর্কতা দেবে, যা দ্বারা সিদ্ধান্ত দেবেন রেফারি। এটি মূলত রেফারিদের দ্রুত ও সঠিকভাবে অফসাইডের সিদ্ধান্ত দেওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে সহায়তা করবে।

৩) বিশ্বকাপের বল ‘আল রিহলা’ এ সংযুক্ত প্রযুক্তি ভিডিও অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট রেফারি (ভিএআর) অফিশিয়ালদের সঠিক সময়ের তথ্য সরবারাহ করবে। এই প্রযুক্তি ফিফার আধা স্বয়ংক্রিয় তথা সেমি-অটোমেটেড অফসাইড প্রযুক্তিকে সহায়তা করবে। এ ছাড়া বলের ভেতর বিশেষ সেন্সর বসানো থাকবে, যা অফসাইডের ন্যূনতম ব্যবধানকেও স্টষ্টভাবে তুল ধরতে পারবে।

৪) বিশ্বকাপের জন্য বানানো স্টেডিয়াম ৯৭৪ টুর্নামেন্ট শেষে আর দেখা যাবে না। এ স্টেডিয়াম বানানোই হয়েছে সহজেই পুরোপুরি ধ্ধংস করার মতো করে, শিপিং কনটেইনার এবং মডিউলার স্টিল কাঠামো দিয়ে। বিশ্বকাপ ইতিহাসে এটিই হতে যাচ্ছে একমাত্র ধ্ধংসযোগ্য স্টেডিয়াম।

৫) বিশ্বকাপ উপভোগ করার সুযোগ পাবে দৃষ্টিশক্তিহীনরাও। কাতারে সাড়া জাগানো প্রযক্তি বোনোকল বিশ্বকাপের ডিজিটাল সবকিছুকে ব্রেইলে রূপান্তর করবে; যা দৃষ্টিশক্তিহীনদেরও বিশ্বকাপ উপভোগ করার সুযোগ করে দেবে।

New addition of technology to Qatar World Cup (FIFA) 2022

On August 12, 2022, FIFA, the governing body of football, changed the schedule of the 22nd season of football in the Arab world. As per the earlier schedule, the match against hosts Qatar and Ecuador on November 21 was the third match of the tournament. Now it will be played a day earlier on November 20 and through this the curtain will rise on the World Cup. Moreover, the time and date of the remaining matches will remain unchanged. The World Cup is going to be held in November-December instead of June-July, changing the tradition of 92 years. The changes, especially in the technological space, can be said to be revolutionary. Some of the new additions in technology that Qatar is bringing are: 1) State-of-the-art cooling technology has been used in 7 of the 8 stadiums of the 2022 World Cup. This will not only keep the environment cool for the players, but also the spectators who come to the gallery to watch the game. Only Stadium 974 does not have this facility. 2) This World Cup will see revolutionary semi-automatic offside technology. The new technology will have 12 tracking cameras inside the stadium. This technology will give the VR official an instant offside warning, which will be decided by the referee. This will essentially help the referees in giving quick and accurate offside decisions. 3) Technology attached to the World Cup ball 'Al Rihla' will provide accurate time information to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) officials. This technology will support FIFA's semi-automated offside technology. Apart from this, special sensors will be placed inside the ball, which will be able to accurately highlight the minimum distance of offside. 4) 974 stadiums built for the World Cup will not be seen after the tournament. The stadium is built completely demountable, using shipping containers and a modular steel structure. This is going to be the only destructible stadium in World Cup history. 5) Visually impaired people will also get a chance to enjoy the World Cup. The project that sparked the response in Qatar will convert everything digital to Braille at the Bonocal World Cup; Which will enable the visually impaired to enjoy the World Cup.
