A Memorable Day In My Life - Composition

Our life is full of events. Some of these events create a permanent impression on our minds. As we grow older, they become our sweetest memories. When we are in solitude, we recollect event that I will never forget. This was my first journey by air. Last year, while I was preparing myself for my primary Scholarship Examination, my uncle, who lives in Cox's Bazar with his family, told me that if I got a scholarship, he would send me an air ticket from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar. Fortunately, I got a Talentpool Scholarship, and my uncle kept his promise.

It was the month of November. I went to the Bimen Office by a baby taxi. A bus from Regency Airlines took us to the airport. After checking in, I was given a boarding card with my seat number on it. I was waiting in the lounge with other passengers for the plane. Then there was an announcement for the passengers to board the plane.

It was a thrilling experience. I walked up the stairs with others in a row. An air hostess welcomed the passengers. Another man showed me the seat. I sat by a window. In a short time, the pilot welcomed us. He told us to fasten our seat belts, and the plane took off. I saw the houses and roads below. Everything looked small. The clouds floated like cotton balls. We were served with some chocolates and fruit drinks. After 40 minutes, we reached Cox's Bazar. The journey was very pleasant and comfortable. It was a memorable day in my life.
