Dear Sir,
With due respect and humble submission I would like to inform you that heatwave is blowing all over the country. It is severe today. In our class room, there are three ceiling fans. Despite that, we feel very hot and are sweating. In these circumstances, we cannot concentrate on our study. Besides, the teachers can't deliver their lecture well owing to intolerable heat.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant us a half holiday and oblige thereby.
