Bitcoin

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that we can buy, sell & exchange directly, without an intermediary like a bank. Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, originally described the need for 'an electronic payment system based on cryptographic proof instead of trust.' Every transaction is publicly broadcast to the network and shared from node to node. Every ten minutes or so these transactions are collected together by miners into a group called a block and added permanently to the blockchain. Bitcoin can be exchanged for cash just like any asset. It was created as a way for people to send money over the internet. There are three main ways people get Bitcoins- buying bitcoin using real money, selling things and let people pay us with Bitcoins and creating Bitcoins using a computer. Bitcoin transaction must be verified by miners, it may take at least 10 to 20 minutes to see our Bitcoin purchase in our account. El Salvador has become the first country in the world to accept Bitcoin as legal tender. Accordingly El Salvador follows a law approved by the country's parliament in 8 June 2021.
