Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
This post is rank of General Manager. Offered for Bangladeshi Nationals only. It is a senior executive position and requires to report directly to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD and CEO).

Job Nature: Full Time (Contractual Period will be 3 years)

Janata Bank Limited Job Educational Qualification

CMA/ CA/ CFA or similar professional Degree/ MBM, MBA, Masters Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Economics/ Banking from any recognized University. At least 2 first class/ Division (Equivalent CGPA/ GPA) & no third class/ division  (Equivalent CGPA/ GPA) in any academic result is acceptable.

Janata Bank Limited Job Experience

At least ten years working experience in any bank / financial institution including 3 years experience in banking accounts & taxation. In addition, candidate should be experienced in financial planning, management, administration, auditing and budgeting along with supervisory capability either in renowed commercial bank/ Government organization/ Central Bank/ Other international organizations like ADB/ IMF/ WB etc. The Candidate must have clear idea about major structure and functions of financial statements of commercial bank & knowledge of computerized Systems/ ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) implementation experience & clear knowledge about core Banking System. The Companies Act-1994. The Bank Companies Act-1991, BRPD & DOS circulars, SLR, CRR, CAMELS & Risk Based Capital Adequacy Guidelines (Base III), adaptation of first time IFRSs in a bank, Deferred Tax etc.

Janata Bank Limited Job Other Requirements

Extensive knowledge of administrative and financial system, excellent communications skill in English (both written and oral), self-management including, ability to prioritize own workload, work independently and commitment to meet requirements of bank management. Age within 45 to 55 years old as on 08 February 2022. (Upper age limited may be relaxed for the highly competent candidates).
