Position: Women's Protection & Empowerment Manager (Female)
Educational Qualification: Masters Degree in Gender or Women Studies/ Psychology/ Social Science/ Management/ Communication/ Journalism/ International Relation/ Social Science/ other relevant subject from any reputed University.
Experience: At least 7 years working experience in the field of Gender/ GBV programming/ Women Protection. Experience in networking, advocacy & policy development. Also experience in implementing activities for girls & women/ Engagement in women right. Working experience with persons of concern desirable.
Job Location: Cox's Bazar Regional Office. Frequently visit Teknaf, Ukhiya, Ramu and Chakaria.

Requirements: Able to demonstrate a clear, girls protection & empowerment, genuine willingness to work women. Understanding interest of girls & women, interest in working on women & empowerment, girls protection. Candidate must comfortable in multi cultural environment, promotes teamwork, able to handle pressure well. Writing basic/ simple report of activities and able to keep records. Demonstrated protection through previous / current volunteer/ paid work in girls, women group club and dedications to women empowerment. Observation & listening skills. Support, respect, trust & interact with survivors of all ages. Able to maintain respect & confidentiality in IWC/ CWC at all times. Sound knowledge of women protection relevant laws. Sound analytical skills. Good communication & interpersonal skill in multi cultural setting. Able to working in harsh & difficult conditions. Good working knowledge of Chittagongian/ Rohingya dialect preferable, but English is essential.
Responsibilities: Work with YPSA staff in implementation & design of activities, specifically target adolescent girls and women grounded in evidence base methodologies. Maintain professional & open relations with partner & YPSA team members, respectful team spirit, promoting a strong, ensuring opportunities for debriefing and effective communication. Provide technical advice if necessary. Contribute data on populations of concern & their researches, problems, disseminates and collects relevant protection information. Ensure capacities, needs, perspectives & resources of persons. Organizational protection planning, strategy processes & operations plan addressing specific protection needs of men & women, youth and older, children, persons with minority groups, disabilities. Relationship with national & international organizations and UN agencies for advocacy. Stay well informed of social, political, cultural & economic developments. Protection environment and provide innovates ideas, information, recommendations. Represent YPSA in relevant coordination meetings. Ensure that protection programming, all gender, meets international standards adhering to a girls, women & feminist approach. Responsible for overall supervision, implementation, management & monitoring of robust gender & protection program.
Salary: Monthly Consolidate BDT 1,27,000 taka.
