 The Hunger Project (THP) is an International NGO. It works in Bangladesh in 1991. Now THP has more than 150,000 volunteers in Bangladesh working toward self-reliance. THP working in Asia, Africa and Latin America for empowers millions of men & women to end their own hunger. It has pioneered bottom up, low cost, gender focused strategies.

Position: Finance Officer

Educational Qualifications: Masters Degree/ Post Graduation Degree in Accounting from reputed University. CA course complete will get prefer.
Experience: At least 7 years working experiences in relevant field in National NGOs/ International NGOs. Experience in practical knowledge in computer accounting software especially in Quick Book Online Plus.

Job Location: Khulna, Dumuria

Requirements: Good knowledge in VAT and TAX deduction at source. Age limit 30 5o 35 years old. Sound knowledge in IFRS, IAS, Foreign Donation act. Good knowledge in preparing FD-7, FD-6, FD-3, FD-2. Advance knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint. Self-starter, pro-active & result oriented. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills in English & Bangla. Strong problem solving & analytical skills. Honest, Dedicated, Professional, Team builder, Polite, Energetic, Smart in manner with positive.

Project Period: 48 months (Joining Date 1st August 2021)

Salary and Other Benefits: Salary negotiable. Gratuity, Provident fund, Festival allowance, Medical support, Group life insurance and others as per organization policy.

Responsibilities: Maintain systematic & proper accounts of project. Scrutinize vouchers, bills in accordance with financial policy. Maintain cash book, Prepare vouchers, Ledger & other register. Analyze & prepare budget variance. Ensure VAT & Income Tax is deducted from all applicable bill as per Government rules. Ensure Maintenance and Repair of office equipment, furniture and fixture, vehicles and office premises. Ensure project procurement in timely. Maintain leave record, personal file and other HR related record. Any other task required by project management.
