Rajshahi University (RU) Admission 2021
Rajshahi University (RU) admission test circular published for academic session 2020-2021. In this notice or circular Rajshahi University provide online application starting date and application closing date. They say this notice, applicant can apply in online in Rajshahi University admission website http://admission.ru.ac.bd. Primary aplication start from 07 March 2021 at 12.00 pm and application close 18 March 2021 12.00 am.
Maximum of 45,000 (Forty Five Thousand) applicants with special quota in each unit will have the opportunity to participate in the admission test on the basis of HSC / equivalent examination results from among the initial applicants. Final application deadline: 23 March 2021 (12 pm) to 31 March 2021 (12 am).
Applicant has to participate in the admission test of the concerned unit. Date of examination will be published in due time. Admission test will be held in three shifts:
(1) From 9:30 am to 10:30 am
(2) From 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm
(3) From 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm.
Educational Qualification for Admission Rajshahi University
Students who have passed HSC / Equivalent, Diploma-in-Commerce, BFA (Pre), HSC (Vocational), Level and On ̈ equivalent examinations under Bangladesh Technical Education Board [subject to approval of HSC Equivalent Determination Committee] Only admission test candidates can apply. Students who have passed the traditional method and from the open university will not be able to apply. Only students with BFA (Pre) degree will be accepted as their results are still in the traditional way, but they will have to have a mark-sheet / certificate. Students who have passed Diploma-in-Engineering from Technical Education Institutions under the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education can also apply to the concerned unit but their GPA will be fixed at 5.00.
1. Science Group: At least CGPA of 3.50 in both SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations (including 4th subject). Total CGPA 8.00 including 4th subject in (SSC and HSC)
2. Arts Group: At least CGPA 3.00 in both SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations (including 4th subject). Total CGPA 7.00 including 4th subject in (SSC and HSC)
3. Business Studies Group: At least CGPA 3.50 in both SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations (including 4th subject). Total CGPA 7.50 including 4th subject in (SSC and HSC)
Must have passed 5 subjects in GCE O level examination and at least 2 subjects in A level examination and get minimum B grade in 4 subjects and minimum C grade in 3 subjects out of 7 subjects in both level. Questions of the applicants who have passed the O level, A level and English version (National Curriculum) examinations will be translated into English. Candidates wishing to appear for examination on English question paper should send their e-mail ru_admission@ru.ac.bd on 31 March 2021 with reference to his / her Application ID and mobile number.
Students who have passed the HSC / equivalent examination in 2020 from the humanities, commerce and science will be able to apply in all three (A, B, C) units according to the addition. Regardless of the group in which the applicant applies, prescribed addition of unit from which he/ she has passed the HSC examination will be applicable to him.
Admission test will be held in 100 number system. Time will be 1 hour. Admission test will have 80 questions in each unit. Negative marking will be produced in exam. For 5 mistakes can be deducted 1 number. Pass number 40 in admission exam. In addition, the conditions imposed by the unit / department / institute will be applicable. Candidates will have to apply for special quota as per the instructions given online. Conditions imposed by the unit / department / institute, online application procedure, admission test routine and necessary information will be published on the Rajshahi University website http://admission.ru.ac.bd in due course.
Rajshahi University (RU) Admission Fees in different units
Initial application fee for one or more units is 55 taka. Only those who have the opportunity to take part in the admission test will submit the prescribed unit fee.
